What will you do?
As a Support Engineer, you know the importance of being accessible to your customer base. You therefore know how to take them through various technical issues with your excellent communication skills. With your service-oriented attitude, you know how to properly speak to and guide them. Therefore, they rely on your expertise. One question is about remote troubleshooting of jammed workstations and the next customer asks you to help with a more complex network problem.
Whatever IT problem it is. An Internet outage or an issue with Outlook, you come up with the solution. Within this position, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. For some clients, you are even a permanent point of contact! As a result, you also often have a pleasant chat with them while discussing how best to configure something. Is there a technical problem you can’t solve on your own? No problem! You know exactly which colleagues to switch with to get to the heart of an issue. As you immerse yourself in many different systems, you build up a tremendous amount of knowledge. Of course, you are part of our Skilled Service Desk for a reason! Because that’s not just one!
Your duties will include:
- Making IT terms understandable to end users;
- Monitor new and pending tickets for priorities and turnaround time, system software and communication facilities at customer and remote sites;
- Contribute to help desk optimization;
- Responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support;
- Timely identification of abnormalities and problems. You provide an appropriate solution;

- You have good communication skills both verbally and in writing;
- You have knowledge of common IT solutions both Cloud and On-premise;
- You are stress resistant and can prioritize well;
- You hold an IT related MBO degree.
