What will you do?
You are incredibly good at identifying and resolving technical issues within VoIP environments. In addition, you have in-depth knowledge of networking equipment, such as switches, routers and firewalls. This expertise puts you in an excellent position to manage telephony environments that meet the specific requirements of Voice over IP (VoIP) communications and customer needs. What this requires and what your duties are you will read below.
In your role as a 2nd Line Voice Engineer within our organization, you will specialize in supporting and proactively managing Hosted Voice solutions from leading providers such as Odido, Vodafone, KPN, and Teams Calling. Your focus will be on providing high-quality support to customers, solving complex problems and ensuring the optimal operation of VoIP infrastructures. In doing so, you contribute to high customer satisfaction. In addition, you are well versed in IP telephony technologies and standards, including SIP protocols, VoIP standards and codecs. You know how to effectively configure, troubleshoot and optimize these infrastructures. In accordance with ITIL, you closely monitor open tickets and know how to handle them appropriately.
Your duties include:
- Managing and maintaining complex (hybrid) VoIP environments at customer sites;
- Support colleagues and exchange knowledge and expertise to improve service levels;
- Provide periodic support and troubleshoot customer problems;
- Responsible to report common problems.
What do you bring:
- Level of thinking/education at MBO+;
- Knowledge of Broadsoft, Telepo and Teams Calling;
- Knowledge of 3CX, Unify and Cisco Unified Communications is a plus;
- You are well versed in IP telephony technologies and standards, including SIP protocols, VoIP standards and codecs;
- You are well versed in networking equipment, such as switches, routers and firewalls;
- You have clear and straightforward communication towards colleagues, customers and suppliers and are a person who enjoys working together;
- You are solution-oriented and able to recognize and solve problems.
