What will you do?

For the Customer Finance department, Yielder Group is looking for a Credit Controller. If you know how to strike the right balance between credit risks and commercial interests, are positively critical and are looking for a challenging and versatile role, then we would like to get in touch with you! In this position, you will work closely with various departments within the Yielder Group and be in direct contact with our customers.

The Customer Finance team in Hoofddorp centrally performs all customer-facing Finance activities (Partner Services, Billing and Credit Control) for the various brands that fall under the Yielder Group. For the accurate and timely processing of all cash flows for the various sales channels and customers, you and your team work closely with many internal and external parties. The team consists of 8 permanent team members and some flex workers and will continue to expand depending on the work.

Your duties include:

• Effective and timely collection of receivables in your own accounts receivable portfolio;
• Proactively engage with customers and vendors to prevent order roadblocks;
• Create, record and follow up on appointments with debtors. For example, payment arrangements;
• You will implement credit underwriting policies; establish and maintain credit limits;
• You will work with and manage the Credit Management software package;
• You actively organize and participate in departmental meetings to discuss Overdues;
• You will provide periodic and ad hoc Credit Management reports;
• You will be responsible for handling tickets; changes, incidents, disputes;
• You will work on structural improvements for Credit Management on a project-by-project basis.

What do you bring:

• You have HBO working and thinking level and preferably a completed HBO education (direction MER, Finance & Control etc.);
• You have demonstrable work experience as a Credit Controller in the Dutch B2B environment;
• You are driven and problem-solving;
• You are assertive;
• You have strong communication and negotiation skills;
• You have numerical understanding and work accurately;
• You enjoy taking responsibility.
