Privacy Statement

This is the privacy statement of Yielder Group. In it, we explain, among other things, why we collect and use personal data, what data it is and what rights you have when we process your personal data. This Privacy Statement applies to people who apply for employment with Yielder Group. We last updated this privacy statement on June 1, 2022.

To best serve you, it is necessary that you provide personal data to us. For example, when you send documents to us, when you call us, email us, write a letter, when you stop by or talk to someone from Yielder Group. It is therefore important for you to know that you can trust us to handle your (personal) data with care and confidentiality. In this statement we explain to you and explain exactly how we do this.

What are personal data?
Personal data is any information about an identified or identifiable natural person. This means that information is either directly about someone or is traceable to that person. That it must be a natural person means that data from deceased individuals or from organizations are not personal data. Examples of personal data include: your name, address and place of residence. Your phone number and zip codes with house number are also personal data. Sensitive data such as someone’s race, religion or data about your health are also called special personal data. These need extra protection.

From whom do we process personal data?
We process personal data of applicants and visitors.

What personal data do we process?
We process the following personal data:

  • First and last name;
  • Address, zip code, city;
  • Gender;
  • Date of birth, place of birth, nationality;
  • Marital status;
  • Phone number and similar data needed for communication;
  • E-mail address;
  • Function;
  • Location details;
  • Data about your activities on our website;
  • Any other data you have provided to us without obligation.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Yielder processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • For contacting you in response to an application;
  • fulfillment of legal obligations.

We use the personal data only for these purposes and never disclose the personal data to third parties without your consent or other basis. If we do allow the transfer of the data with consent or another basis, we impose the same protection and security measures on the third party as we impose on ourselves.

Yielder Group bases its processing operations on the following bases:

  • Execution of the agreement: in the context of our services and entering into agreements, we collect and use the necessary personal data for making an offer, the formation and execution of the agreement.
  • Legal obligation: processing of data may be necessary for compliance with legal obligations.
  • Justifiable interest: the collection and use of certain personal data is necessary to fulfill corporate interests and business operations.
  • Consent: Yielder Group processes data based on consent when we process special data. You are always free to withhold or withdraw consent. In that case, it may not be possible to perform the agreement or service.

We have tried to give as good an overview as possible of the personal data we process or have processed on your behalf, indicating the purposes and legal grounds. We do realize that it is not possible to do this fully and in every detail. Partly because of the fact that other or unforeseen purposes may come into play in the future, requiring the processing of personal data. We emphasize that in such cases, we will continue to handle your personal data conscientiously and carefully.

How do we handle your personal data?
When processing personal data, Yielder Group adheres to the rules prescribed by privacy legislation. This means that we only collect and process personal data when there is a basis and purpose for doing so. Only the personal data needed are collected and the personal data are then processed only for that specific purpose. In doing so, we keep in mind the nature of the personal data and adjust an appropriate technical and organizational level of security accordingly. So you can rest assured that we handle personal data carefully, securely and confidentially.

Confidentiality
It is necessary for some of our employees to have access to your personal data, for example, HR and management. To ensure the protection of your personal data here as well, all of our employees have signed a confidentiality agreement. With this, we impose on our employees that they will keep your personal data confidential and that they will handle the data you entrust to us with care. It is still important to note, however, that only authorized personnel are allowed to process your data.

View, correct or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Yielder Group and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.

You may send a request to access, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the revocation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to privacy@yieldergroup.com. To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask that you send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Finally, you also have the option to file a complaint with the national regulator, the Personal Data Authority. Retention period
We do not retain your data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which we obtained the data from you. The criteria for determining the retention period of your personal data are: (a) the duration of the agreement with Yielder Group, (b) the existence of a legal retention requirement or term or (c) the existence of a claim or potential claim or dispute in connection with which the data should be retained.

Yielder Group shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement, in connection with the provision of services, due to a legitimate interest and/or to comply with any legal obligation. We may provide data in that context to but not exhaustively:

  • Government agencies where necessary for Yielder Group to fulfill its legal obligations;
  • Third parties in case of outsourcing of work. This work will be performed under the responsibility of Yielder Group, in accordance with our security standards and on our instructions;
  • Lawyers or attorneys for advice or in connection with legal proceedings;
  • Legal successors, in case of sale of services to another organization or acquisition or sale of (part of) Yielder Group. When personal data is shared in that case, the data will continue to be used in accordance with this statement.

Processing outside the EU?
Yielder Group does not process personal data outside the EU.

Cookies
Yielder Group uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. Yielder Group uses cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimize it. We also place cookies that track your browsing habits so that we can provide customized content and advertisements.
